If you’re anything like me, you love learning about the world around you. You aim to understand stuff, and it probably gives you a lot of joy every time you step closer to understanding complex things like skin health, mental health, psychological concepts, etc.
Well, I used to think that when someone used serious words like acne, trauma, or even positivity, they knew what they meant…
The pickle is that some people use these words without knowing what they mean.
So someone with clear skin can be describing their skin as having acne (I’ve worked with too many clients who did this), and someone mentally healthy and fairly well-adjusted can be describing themselves as having trauma or traumatic experiences…
Isn’t that kind of weird and interesting?
In this episode, we explore how and why certain words have taken on NEW meanings and uses and why you need to be aware of this sort of stuff to maintain your clearheadedness.
